CariAgriTech Ventures was born from a simple belief: challenges create opportunities.

Our journey began not with software or data analytics, but with agriculture itself. As young entrepreneurs, we started by growing peppers and producing artisan pepper sauces. What began as a response to a farming challenge quickly became a business opportunity. When monkeys damaged our pepper crop, our team lead shared a phrase that would shape our thinking for years to come: "When life gives you hot peppers, make pepper sauce."

That spirit of resilience led us to launch products into local stores, secure placement in airport retail outlets, travel throughout the Caribbean, and build a growing brand around value-added agriculture. Along the way, we spent years farming, producing fruits and vegetables, learning firsthand the realities, risks, and rewards faced by Caribbean farmers every day.

As we worked in the field, supported farmers, and helped improve production performance, we recognized a deeper challenge. Across the Caribbean, there was limited visibility into what was being grown, what was being harvested, and what was being produced. Farmers, buyers, businesses, and policymakers often operated with incomplete information, leading to inefficiencies, missed opportunities, shortages, and market gluts.

We realized that the future of agriculture would not be defined by technology alone, but by the ecosystems built around it. Farmers needed digital infrastructure, market access, trusted support networks, and actionable insights to fully benefit from innovation.

This realization led to the creation of CariAgriTech Ventures Inc.

Today, we are building the tools and platforms that connect farmers, veterinarians, buyers, agribusinesses, and governments through data, intelligence, and collaboration. Our mission is to transform Caribbean agriculture from fragmented and reactive to connected, transparent, and data-driven.

What started with a bottle of pepper sauce has evolved into a vision for a smarter, more resilient Caribbean food system.
